This person will be required to draft press releases and advisories, write talking points and regular electronic and other newsletters. They will work with the Assemblymember and Chief of Staff to develop social media strategy and expand its reach. Minimum Qualifications 2-3 years experience in local, state or federal government offices is strongly preferred. Exceptional writing skills are a must.Demonstrated social media experience required. The successful candidate will display strong analytical skills, excellent judgement and political sensitivity. The applicant must be highly self-motivated, a focused team player and an experienced negotiator. Must possess strong interpersonal skills, be willing to work long hours and some weekends, and serve in a highly collaborative work environment. The successful candidate will be able to perform with precision in a fast-paced, high pressure environment and must be able to meet deadlines. Demonstrated experience building relationships and coalitions required.
