As a member of Corteva Agriscience's global Employee & Leadership Communications team, the Communications Consultant will support global employee communications programs and initiatives, and lead employee outreach efforts for our commercial organization. This individual contributor role will work in a fast-paced environment, elevating how Corteva communicates and engages with multiple audiences.

Location: Indianapolis is preferred. Other locations may be considered as well.

Primary Responsibilities - How will you help us Grow!

Work with the head of employee and leadership communications to strengthen employee engagement with communications – that is, ensure communications are reaching and informing all employees, effectively and well.Help implement global employee communications strategy.Manage and support global internal communications programs and campaigns.Support the president of North America Commercial in articulating the division’s vision, strategies, and priorities for commercial employees, and support the North America leadership team’s interactions with key stakeholders.Support project management activities, logistics coordination, and speaker preparations for employee events, including Corteva town halls and other key business milestones.Ensure appropriate reviews, edits, and delivery of employee communications are completed accurately and on time.Proactively identify and drive opportunities to optimize enterprise employee communication processes, practices, and messaging.Work across the global organization to find, develop, and communicate stories about our employees.Collaborate with Public Affairs teams to support execution of an integrated communications strategy, and liaise with global media team on issues management specific to the North America commercial business.Integrate technologies, data, and best practices to ensure continued effectiveness of messaging across audiences.Lead and support ad-hoc communications projects and activities.

Experience and Education – What you'll bring to the table!

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or other related fields is preferred.Experienced communications professional with 7+ years of experience supporting communication efforts in a corporate environment.Experience and demonstrated leadership in working with senior leaders; ability to engage and brief senior executives effectively.Experience leading programs and campaigns with outreach to internal and external audiences.Ability to critically assess any given issue and provide counsel on recommended path forward.Ability to work fast and navigate a matrixed organization effectively and independently.Issues management experience and ability to react quickly to requests from the media team.Previous experience in working with the agriculture or chemical sector preferred.Strategic mindset that fosters innovative, creative thinking.Experience influencing and consulting with key stakeholders.Results driven; ability to successfully execute and manage through ambiguity.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English.Ability to successfully navigate challenging opportunities to meet objectives and deadlines; solves complex problems with minimal guidance.Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly adapt to changing needs.Ability to travel when necessary.
