Job Description:Responsibilities include: Monitoring and maintaining telecommunication system performance; developing, designing, and implementing new or upgraded systems; developing disaster/data recovery plans for highly complex hardware systems and software; works to resolve minor to major service outages and performs other day-to-day operational activities. Acts as the project manager on technology-focused initiatives.

Education Qualifications:Job Description

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Industrial Technology, or equivalent.

Over 5 years progressively responsible experience with telecommunications systems and

Has attained necessary vendor education required to know and support telecom platforms.

OR

Associates degree in computer science, data processing or related field and

Minimum of 7 years progressively responsible experience with telecommunications systems.

OR

9 years experience in a medium to large centralized IS department with evidence of increasing responsibility and experience with telecommunications systems.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

No certification/licensure required.
