Communication Specialist (fixed term)

[Role description]

AstraZeneca Korea Corporate Communications team is looking for a Communications Specialist to cover a maternity leave. The role supports employee communication, manages content across various channels, and assists with producing effective communication materials. This position requires a university degree, relevant experience in communications, fluency in English, and strong attention to detail.

[Typical Accountabilities]

Create content including visuals, videos, and storiesManage social media account in Korean and EnglishProvide support regarding editing of various documents and PowerPoint presentationsSupport company eventsAssist in other tasks on request

[Skills]

Excellent writing skillsBasic content creation skillsFamiliarity with internal communications tools (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Workvivo)

[Qualifications]

1. Education: University degree in communications, journalism, or other relevant discipline

2. Language: Fluent in verbal and written English

3. Work Experience:

Minimum five years of professional experience in communications, public affairs, or related fields, preferably in multinational companies

4. Competencies:

Proficiency in English and excellent writing skills are essential for this positionHands-on experience with social mediaFamiliarity with corporate social responsibility activitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Package (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously while managing multiple priorities with strong attention to detailWell-organized, professional and reliableGood understanding of the healthcare industry will be considered an advantage
