Our Electronics Commodity Organization within Operations and Supply Chain (OSC) at Raytheon has an excellent opportunity for a Commodity Performance Lead (CPL) to join our Harness, Cable and Connector Sourcing & Execution Team. In this specific role you will partner with a key supplier to manage, prioritize, execute, and resolve issues that prevent the supplier from reworking and delivering product per schedule.
The objective of the role is supplier execution management specifically managing the sourcing of various commodities within a Raytheon overall components spend. Develop and maintain sourcing of Raytheon components that drives improved execution in supplier on-time delivery performance and quality while reducing the total cost of the supply chain. Responsible for all day-to-day supplier execution activities, the CPL will develop strong, strategic internal and external relationships and foster leadership collaboration, transparency, and effective communication. The CPL will regularly engage with the supplier to understand progress and obstacles to meeting delivery needs. The role will partner with the supplier to resolve those obstacles and take lead on specific obstacles that can be resolved under Raytheon control. The CPL will regularly be communicating status, actions, and owners of issues at various organizational levels both within Raytheon and at the supplier. Success in the role will be determined by the ability to effectively communicate status, find creative ways to solve problems, and build trusted professional relationships with both internal and external stake holders.
**What You Will Do:**
+ Lead all execution aspects of the supplier working closely with Commodity Strategy, Agreements, Procurement, SBU programs, etc
+ Develop, implement, and maintain a clear execution and delivery schedule for the supplier's products, in partnership with the supplier
+ Communicate status (challenges, actions, owners, needs) at various levels within both Raytheon and the supplier
+ Drive closure of actions that are owned by Raytheon by building relationships
+ Drive closure of actions at the supplier by gaining trust and clearly communicating Raytheon priorities
+ Build relationships with supplier counterparts and executives to improve supplier performance and to ensure alignment with our current execution and future business priorities and strategies.
+ Discuss material, technical, and resource challenges from a position of manufacturing experience
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
+ Program Management, Commodity Management, Supplier Performance Management, Contract Management, Agreements Management and/or Procurement experience required
+ Ability to travel 25% domestically
+ The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Working knowledge of Electronics Assembly at the Harness, Cable, Connector level
+ Defense Industry Experience and familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements
+ Demonstrated ability to influence across a matrix organization
+ Strong communication skills
+ The ability to perform duties with minimal oversight; ability to understand the organization’s goals, create the plan, and then determine the tactical tasks to achieve success

**_This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories)._**
The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
