Job Summary
We are looking for a Commodity Manager who leads customized suppliers based in Shenzhen China, supporting SYSS global business.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Handle the business relationship with suppliers. Strategically, take containment to demonstrate the price, service with supplier via E-Bid or negotiation, get the saving as where is possible. Drive the supplier to meet the important metric target as what Emerson SYSS requested. Support quality team to implement the quality target at supplier end to ensure product fully meet Emerson SYSS requirements. Support migration projects from other areas to Malaysia, consolidate the supply base timely. Support all activities in relation to customized products that manufactured in China / Asia to meet global business demand with engaged business entities.Who You Are:
You facilitate an open dialogue with a wide variety of contributors and partners. You timely adjust communication content and style to satisfy the needs of diverse partners. You build immediate rapport, even when facing difficult or tense situations.
For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or above, education on Electronics / Mechanical or related engineering field. Self-motivation, good communication skills, computer literate, proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin. Being able to communicate at all levels within the organization are needed. Preferred have design, manufacturing experience. 10 years’ supply chain related work, preferred with international global businesses. Rich of supply chain management experience, drive supply chain work to meet company defined target. Good sense on important metric to steer business trend. Willing and able to travel within and outside of Malaysia (as required) frequently.Our Culture and Commitment to You:
