**Commodity Manager - Carmel, IN**
This position is intended to support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for assigned sourced products and categories for the Americas region. Identify and engage with internal stakeholders (SBU management, product management, engineering, operations, materials & quality) to capture product requirements and ensure supplier qualification, cost and quality objectives. Responsible for developing & executing detailed product sourcing strategies. Accountable for all commercial negotiations and supplier selections within assigned product categories. This role is also responsible for management of suppliers through formal Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) process and accountable for managing supplier performance and supplier risk across all responsible product categories. This position will manage several sourcing category strategies, business relationships and new product introduction projects for assigned product categories. As a result, this position requires an ability to develop relationships across with multiple functions, manufacturing and distribution sites as well a global supply base.

**What You Will Do:**
+ Directly manage supplier relationships and performance for assigned suppliers and product categories
+ Develop and execute procurement strategies and optimize total supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery, and technology). Lead, manage and execute all data collection, validation, analysis and negotiation activities for assigned product categories including contract management.
+ Conduct business reviews with the product and business teams to understand product requirements and product roadmaps and strategies
+ Provide sourcing solutions and support for prioritized portfolio gaps and new productintroductions
+ Participate in core SBU team meetings as the GSM representative.
+ Analyze spend data and assist in identifying and driving direct material productivity and other cost saving projects
+ Participate and represent the Americas region in monthly global category business reviews for assigned categories
+ Develop and execute supply chain resiliency projects
+ Perform competitive analysis, industry benchmark, and opportunity assessments.
+ Identify productivity projects through collaboration with suppliers and internal cross-functional team members and capture in EPM
+ Coordinate quarterly supplier reviews including scheduling reviews with key suppliers, collecting and validating supplier performance metrics, survey plants and stakeholders
+ Support forecasting and reporting of productivity, inflation, deflation, tariffs and subsequent mitigation activity for select categories in EPM
+ Develop and present select commodity/category playbooks on an annual basis
**What You Need to Succeed:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or related field
+ 5+ years of procurement, consulting, buyer, and/or analyst experience
+ Demonstrated competence in negotiating, supplier management and assessing suppliers
+ Strong analytical skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
+ Advanced communication skills including presentation skills is required.
+ Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products including Excel (and use of macros, pivot tables, etc.), PowerPoint and Power Bi
+ Up to 25% travel, including overseas
