Raytheon is looking for a COMMO Support Engineer to join our Field Engineering Team. In this role, you will use your in-depth knowledge and field experience to provide all levels of classroom and hands on operations and maintenance training to Taiwan COMMO personnel.
**What You Will Do**
+ Responsible for the installation, checks out, operation, maintenance, repairs, and modification of radio communications equipment.
+ Partner with Taiwan COMMO personnel to troubleshoot and repair all COMMO issues at required locations, including IETC, E1, MICS at all hub locations and functions.
+ Provide TT&E training to DSU CE personnel, train and assist with PMCS and corrosion prevention at all levels, provide expert advice and assistance to Taiwan Air Defense Missile Command (ADMC) at all levels of leadership on the training and employment of Patriot Battalion (BN) and Fire Unit (FU) personnel and hardware.
This unaccompanied onsite position will be in Taiwan for an international assignment.
Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignment including comprehensive post-offer medical examination.
**Qualifications You Must Have**
+ Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
+ Graduate of one or more of the following Patriot Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) Courses: 31R, 24T or 14E; and/or at least one (1) year of Collective Training experience.
+ Experience with field maintenance support of US or Taiwan Military Patriot unique communications equipment.
+ Experience with configuration, operation, troubleshooting, and repair of Government furnished VHF/UHF and Satellite communications equipment at the organizational/direct support level.
+ Experience developing and providing solutions to a variety of communication networks problems.
+ Experience using UNIX and Windows operating systems.
+ Working knowledge of system administrator communications networking procedures.
+ Working knowledge of Encryption/Comsec devices and procedures.
+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date.
+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
**Qualifications We Prefer**
+ Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
+ Experience with International Patriot FMS Programs.
+ Experience living and working in an overseas location.
+ Experience with Contractor Logistics Support.
+ Experience with windows networking setup, and detailed knowledge of current military communications.
+ Experience with tactical internet and satellite communications experience.
+ Experience with Raytheon Quality Control procedures.
+ Experience of the Patriot refurbishment, modification, and system integration and check out (SICO) process.
+ Working knowledge of various kinds of video formats (i.e. RGB (Red, Green, Blue), Composite video, S-Video, etc.).
+ Working knowledge and understanding of network TCP/IP works and pings.
+ Working knowledge with running Mobile Subscriber Equipment (MSE), Single Channel Ground & Airborne Radios (SINCGARS), Enhanced Position Location Reporting Systems (EPLRS), and Global Positioning System (GPS).
+ Excellent comprehensive planning skills.
+ Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with special focus on achieving active participation of appropriate individuals across the business.
+ Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.

**Clearance Information:** This position requires a security clearance. The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
