Snowflake is looking for a driven Commission Analyst to join our growing Sales

Commission Team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in designing, configuring, and maintaining our incentive compensation plans within our ICM system, ensuring accurate and timely commission payments. You'll work closely with Sales Operations, IT, BI and HR to translate business requirements into technical solutions, optimize our compensation processes, and support our sales teams globally.

We are looking for someone who is highly organized, experienced, and self-motivated who has a proven capability of prioritizing multiple responsibilities while meeting strict goals and deadlines. You must have strong communication and analytical skills, be team oriented and have confidence in collaborating with colleagues across the organization.

IN THIS ROLE AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

Become a subject matter expert on all aspects of the Plan Configuration process

Design, build, test, and maintain complex sales compensation Plans, Rules, Hierarchies, and workflows within the ICM Tool (e.g., Xactly Incent, SPIFF, Captivate IQ)

Collaborate with Sales Operations to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements for new or updated compensation plans into technical specifications for system configuration.

Oversee the integrity and accuracy of compensation data, including participant data, Formulas, Crediting rules, Commission Rules, Rate Tables, Quotas, and sales actuals.

Troubleshoot and resolve compensation-related issues, discrepancies, and system errors, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for new configurations, plan changes, and system upgrades to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Identify opportunities to optimize and automate compensation processes within the ICM system, enhancing efficiency and scalability.

Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, process flows, and user guides.

Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders on ICM system functionality and compensation plan mechanics.

Perform monthly reconciliations of attainment and earnings data to ensure completeness and accuracy of results for plan participant and management review

Become a trusted resource for payees by providing support for commission related

inquiries and resolve escalations

Work with cross functional teams to identify problems and process gaps and propose reasonable and creative solutions to improve processes including opportunities for automating manual processes or activities within a process.

Provide the required support for external, internal and SOX audits, process walkthroughs and workflows as and when required (primarily during quarter and year end audits)

Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

4+ years of ICM Configurations (Plan implementation) experience.

Experience with Xactly Incent, SPIFF or Captivate IQ tools is must.

Good to have Xactly Incent/Spiff configuration expert certification.

Proven relationship building and problem-solving abilities

Ability to perform tasks independently with minimal direction

Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Strong communication and people skills

Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills

Must have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite.

Ability to meet tight deadlines

Proactive and problem-solving attitude

Troubleshoot and resolve calculation and/or data errors.

Respond to Commission related inquiries from the Sales Team in an effective and timely manner.
