Commissions Assistant

The Commissions Assistant role is responsible for accurate Commissions reporting and related activity. This position will require clear and professional communication with internal and external business partners and clients.   

Job Function

Prepare complex commission statements and related reporting.  Must ensure all information is accurately recorded and meets contractual requirements.

Solve routine issues/complaints through communication with clients via telephone and email in a timely manner.  Ability to answer phone inquiries from customer service personnel and customers.

Assist with standardization and process improvement across all commission processes. Ensure compliance with all HR & Finance policies in regard to how payments are processed.

Process ad-hoc payment requests for Commissions as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Accounting or similar field, 3 years’ experience or HS/GED and 4 years.Proficient with Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word and Outlook.  Customer service experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong phone and written/email communication skills.  Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and comfort with large and complex data sets. Sound analytical and critical thinking skills.

Must be 18 years of age or older

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $24.50 - $28.00 hourly. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
