Role description:

As the Commissioning Technician manage the commissioning process on various in-house small to medium sized projects

Role accountabilities:

Perform Commissioning design reviews, submittal reviews and closeout document reviews Create pre-functioning and functional checklists and commissioning plans Conduct Commissioning meetings and managing the commissioning process for assigned projects Perform field observations and functional testing Document and track test results on issue resolution logs Create commissioning deliverables such as final commissioning reports Assist in the review and development of staff training and continuing education opportunities Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Project Manager of Commissioning

Qualifications & Experience:

Eight (8) years full time paid professional experience in commissioning Working knowledge of building code, CHPS, and commissioning requirements ANSI commissioning certification (CxA, CxT, BCxP, Certified Commissioning Professional) Extensive knowledge of building, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering, architecture or construction management

Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
