Wood is recruiting for 8 Instrument Commissioning Technicians for a 3 month outage at the Kirriemuir site in the North East of Scotland.  

This is joining our Systems Integration team to support with commissioning and testing of and upgraded controls system.  

Position can be either PAYE or Ltd company outside IR35.  

Applicants must be able to pass HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.

The Role 

Job Requirements: Provide Instrument commissioning services during outage 

Location: Kirriemuir Site 

Site / Office based: Site Based  

Hours of work: 10 hours per day  

Rotation / work pattern: 10 days on 4 days off 

Duration: 3-4 Months – June 2025 – September 2025 

The Instrument Commissioning Technician will deliver a high quality, consistent and competent technician commissioning service in accordance with project/company requirements, standards and procedures  

The Technician will ensure all work scope is completed in a safe manner ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, fabric or environment. 

To perform all required discipline tasks, safely, consistently and in accordance with project requirements, procedures and specifications will be the other major responsibility to handle.
