Fill & Finish Expansion

Anagni (FR), Italy

It’s not unusual to push the boundaries of pharmaceutical manufacturing, but in this role you’ll push the boundaries of team management too.

If you have a proven track record of managing intricate projects, are passionate about equipment and systems validation, qualification, and commissioning, and enjoy mentoring engineering teams, this is the opportunity for you!

Your new role

Novo Nordisk is investing massively in new production facilities around the globe. With this expansion we will contribute with the important role of producing future products - and you will get an opportunity to be a part of it.

In the position of Commissioning & Qualification Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

Develop, implement, and manage C&Q plans, ensuring effective systems and processes are in place for the introduction of new equipment and systems relevant to project scope.

Monitor and control the C&Q scope of work with a focus on quality, schedule, and budget, ensuring the project delivers the desired outcomes efficiently.

Engage and communicate with stakeholders regularly to address challenges, ensuring alignment and commitment to achieve project success.

Conduct risk analyses and cost-benefit assessments, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to protect project results.

Lead and mentor team members, fostering collaboration and motivation while ensuring resource allocation meets project needs, and reporting C&Q performance across critical areas such as schedule, cost, scope, and quality.

Your new department

End of 2024, Novo Nordisk acquired the manufacturing site Catalent Anagni S.r.l. with the ambition to expand our capacity to meet the needs of millions of patients. You will be part of a global team that will develop the pharma facilities of the future and work with advanced technology to rethink our fill & finish facilities.

Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx) is part of Novo Nordisk’s newly established Fill & Finish area. Our mission is to increase production capacity across the Novo Nordisk network to ensure we continue delivering high-quality products to our patients.

You will join a dynamic and collaborative team that values knowledge sharing and teamwork. We work in a vibrant and positive environment where networking and cooperation are key to our success. The role is based in Anagni, where you will be part of a growing department dedicated to making a difference.

Your skills & qualifications

To excel in this position, you will hold a master’s degree in engineering and possess a minimum of 8–10 years of experience in roles such as Validation Lead, Qualification Manager, Supervisor, or Commissioning Manager within pharmaceutical manufacturing, particularly those that involve cross-functional collaboration.

Additionally, you should demonstrate:

Proven expertise in managing complex projects within large healthcare organizations.

Strong direct and indirect people management skills

In-depth knowledge of documentation processes during the qualification of equipment, facilities, and utilities

Experience in collaborating closely with different stakeholders, at different levels of seniority

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Project Management training or certification is an advantage.
