Overview:
Seeking a detail-oriented Commissioning Engineer to support scheduling, quality assurance, and system integration for Basebuild utility systems. This role involves coordinating commissioning activities, troubleshooting system issues, and interfacing with design and construction teams.
Key Responsibilities:Coordinate technician schedules and manpower forecastsTrack and resolve commissioning constraints and deficienciesIntegrate construction/design schedules with commissioning timelinesConduct system walkdowns and root cause failure analysisTrain and manage supplier access in commissioning softwareGenerate reports on schedule and quality metricsCollaborate with engineering teams and client representativesQualifications:2+ years in commissioning or construction (I&C or Electrical systems)Experience with Rockwell Automation, PLC5, and Control LogixFamiliarity with large capital projects and multi-discipline teamsStrong understanding of process systems, P&IDs, SCADA, and BMSProficient in reading technical drawings and conducting I/O checkoutsExcellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skillsPreferred:Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in engineering or related field3+ years working with control systems in data centers or similar environmentsThis is a fully onsite position in Abilene, TX - per diem is offered
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $29.00 - $36.00/hr.
