Commissioning Engineer - Berwick, PAWhat this job involvesJLL is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to provide reliable, efficient support to our Commissioning & Building Analytics (CBA) team. This position is fully on site in Berwick, PA, and is a 12 month minimum project. This role requires working with diverse internal and external stakeholders, exercising independent judgment to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:Executing commissioning processes according to ASHRAE, CSA, and LEED requirementsConducting inspections and testing of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and control systemsManaging commissioning projects through design, pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phasesDeveloping comprehensive commissioning plans, specifications, and test scriptsPerforming field-based activities including site visits, witnessing start-up tests, and directing functional testsReviewing design drawings, specifications, and submittals for commissioning complianceLeading commissioning meetings and maintaining detailed issue logsCreating detailed documentation including Systems Manuals, SOPs, and Methods-of-ProceduresDesired experience and technical skillsRequirements:University technical degree (Engineering degree preferred)LEED AP certificationMinimum 10 years of relevant mechanical engineering/field-testing experienceMinimum 5 years in building commissioningExperience with mechanical testing equipment and data analysisKnowledge of HVAC&R systems, building management systems, and fire protectionStrong data management and communication skillsProficiency in MS Project, Word, and ExcelWillingness to travel up to 50% across the USAAbility to manage multiple projects concurrentlyStrong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skillsPreferred:Professional Engineer/PE or PMP designationCEM, CBCP, and/or CPMP designationsMaster Mechanic LicenseWillingness to travel internationally when neededFluency in Spanish and/or PortugueseExperience with electrical testing equipmentBackground in consultancy or owner organizationFacility Management experienceOperating engineer experience in data centers or mission-critical facilitiesLocation:
