The Commission Manager manages a team of commission analysts who support sales teams and partners with Sales Finance Business Partners/Finance Directors for sales commission. This position is part of a larger group of the Global Commission Office and will work with peers in other GEO’s to ensure global alignment.
This roles’ primary goal is to lead and mentor a team of analysts to ensure that the sales teams supported by the commission analyst on the team are paid accurately and on time. This role is also responsible for understanding the commission forecast for their own GEO and providing information that will help the WW Commission Manager and best model and forecast the commission result. The Commission Manager will be the SME for their GEO, working with Finance Business Partners, Sales Managers, Finance Directors, and Sales Compensation to correctly and effectively implement the approved sales compensation plan.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the End-to-End Commission Process for Team
Manage the teams comp plan (TTS) creation process, ensuring compliance with the approved comp plan and crediting rulesEnsure all variable commissions are paid in accordance with sales comp plan and earningsUnderstand the sales compensation plan and ensure it is implemented correctly by the teamEnsures Sarbanes Oxley (SOx) compliance for teamActs as a SME to the Team
Understand the crediting rules and special considerations by team and ensures these are implemented correctlyProvides commentary and explanation for payments and earningsThoroughly reviews analyst packages, makes sure that payments are submitted correctly, any outliers are understood/correct, and approves paymentsUnderstands GEO commission forecast and identifies gaps between commission and billings forecast, as well as visibility to the manual components of the commission forecastManages a Team of Analyst

5+ years management experience. Experience managing a remote team a plusBachelor degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance. MBA/CMA/ACCA a plusCommission experience preferredAdvanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI skillsAble to apply judgement consistentlyAble to multitask and manage a team to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while maintaining accuracyMust be flexible in work time, as meetings are sometimes required with other team members in different GeosApplicant should have flexibility, an open mind, and a strong willingness to learn#LI-AV1
