Superior conference and banqueting facilities mark Jumeirah Messilah Beach as the perfect venue for meetings and events. **About the Job:** An opportunity has arisen for a **_Commis II_** to join **_Olio Kitchen_** in **_Jumeirah Messilah Beach_** . The main duties and responsibilities of this role: + Adhere strictly to company policies including safety, hygiene, and culinary standards as outlined in the Navigator Handbook. + Support the Culinary team by fostering team spirit, trust, and lateral service across departments. + Communicate promptly with the Chef de Cuisine regarding accidents, sickness, equipment breakdowns, and maintenance issues. + Ensure high cleanliness standards in collaboration with Stewarding, maintaining kitchen equipment and following proper setup/breakdown procedures. + Handle quality ingredients efficiently, ensuring proper storage (FIFO), minimal waste, and adherence to recipes and plating guides. + Embrace changes positively and contribute to a safe and organized work environment. **About you:** The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: + Should have 1 year minimum experience in the same role at a five-star hotel. + Able to handle multiple tasks. + Work in a multicultural environment. + Knowledge of the style of cuisine. + Knowledge of HACCP as well as general health & safety in the workplace. **About the Benefits:** Besides generous F&B benefits and reduced hotel rates across our hotels globally, this role has excellent employee benefits making the role attractive to high performers and any applicant who likes to associate her/himself with one of the most luxurious brands in the hospitality industry.
