Job Description
The Commis de Rang is responsible for delivering efficient, courteous, and exceptional in-room dining service, consistently exceeding operational standards. As an ambassador of the hotel, this role requires the highest level of hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail, with a passion for outstanding guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess an engaging demeanor and an intuitive understanding of first-class service.Handle guest inquiries and orders with precision, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.Ensures that all the Food and Beverage Fundamentals are implemented.Uphold the brand promise by providing exceptional, personalized service at all times.Anticipate and record guest preferences to enhance future visits.Maintain in-depth knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods. Recommend food and beverage pairings and up-sell alternatives effectively.Communicate special requests, dietary restrictions, or allergies to the kitchen team promptly.Proficient in using the Micros and Triton systems for seamless service operations.Strong understanding of food and beverage standards and service etiquette.Ensures mise en place is continuously done to ensure we have the necessary equipment during each service.Qualifications and SkillsFluency in German and English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a strong advantage.Ability to anticipate and understand guest needs to deliver exceptional service.Collaborate effectively with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience in a similar role or within luxury hospitality is preferred.
