**About the Job:**
An opportunity has arisen for a **Commis 1** to join the **Culinary** team in **Jumeirah Al Naseem** . The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
+ Support Demi Chef/Chef de Partie in daily kitchen tasks, ensuring alignment with outlet concept and Jumeirah standards for high-quality food preparation.
+ Perform food prep duties such as chopping, marinating, mixing, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and presentation guidelines.
+ Maintain inventory by restocking stations, storing items correctly, and reporting low stock levels.
+ Follow proper food rotation, discard expired items, and uphold hygiene standards in storage areas.
+ Clean and organise the workstation, adhering to safety and hygiene procedures, including HACCP requirements.
+ Attend briefings and communicate effectively with the culinary team to ensure smooth shift transitions.
**About You:**
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
+ College Degree in Culinary Arts or similar from an accredited Culinary School.
+ At least 2-3 years of experience in progressively more complex and responsible roles, ideally within the luxury hospitality industry.
+ Adaptability and appreciation of cultural diversity
+ Expert in food quality and presentation skills.
