Commercial Sales Engagement Manager
Description

Summary:

The CML Sales Engagement Manager is accountable for the successful adoption and utilization of these sales programs for the Commercial Segment. This position leads the implementation of new segment-wide sales support initiatives by developing training and support plans for front line sales colleagues, providing one-on-one support to ensure adoption, working with sales leadership to provide the reporting so that effective coaching can occur, and developing communications to promote sales best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan & execute annual communication strategy including segment communication, platform enhancements, user guides, & Edge SharePoint portal.Exercise communication and influencing skills through partnering with key stakeholders and colleagues to accomplish objectives.Demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills that can adapt to various levels of an organization.Analyze findings, develop recommendations, and present to senior leaders.Develop and execute new hire, legacy, and Insurance Edge training curriculum in partnership with Huntington Business School and Boston Consulting Group. Allow for additional CML segments and/or training to transition to in-house platform per roadmap.Support CML Sales colleagues’ use of Edge portal & leads presented to help make them more effective in deepening client relationships.Plan, develop, and deliver sales tools as needed to support use of Edge portal.Act as primary line of communication between Edge users and various internal/external product support teams to collect, manage, and respond to incidents, feedback, and enhancements to the Edge tool.Assist in executing on Commercial Sales Playbook by engaging with Commercial Region Managers, Treasury Management Sales Managers, Team Leads, etc. to understand and help reinforce expectations in each market.Provide guidance on how to leverage Edge tool as part of Huntington’s overall sales process and execution of Commercial Bank’s deepening strategy.Regularly participate in regional and team meetings, coaching interactions, and strategic planning sessions.Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree5+ years of related experience in sales engagement including program management.

Preferred Qualifications:

5 - 7 years of program management experience within Financial Services and/or Sales AdministrationResults-focused, highly motivated and self-starterStrong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyAttention to detail and ability to creatively find opportunities for improvementProven ability to effectively interact with program partners and executive leadersAbility to think critically under pressure and apply strong problem-solving skillsAbility to influence team members (in a non-direct report environment)Experience training and presenting in a professional settingCritical-thinker able to quickly identify themes and patterns and connect the dots for solutions or efficienciesExcellent analytical and mathematical skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with excellent troubleshooting, problem solving and organizational skillsKeen attention to detailAbility to identify continuous improvement opportunities and solutionsProficiency in managing multiple priorities and ability to re-prioritize as appropriate
