At the Commerce Bank of Oregon , we believe that delivering exceptional service to our clients is the single most important function we perform in our role as bankers.  We are dedicated to enriching small to mid-size business organizations by providing them and their principals with highly personalized banking and financial services from experienced bankers committed to long-term banking relationships.   The Commerce Bank of Oregon is excited to offer an opportunity as a Commercial Relationship Manager to an experienced candidate.   Job Requirements:   + Responsible for generating and servicing a variety of commercial/business loans, and bank services in accordance with individually established business development goals. + Performs underwriting functions + Achieves portfolio growth and cross-sale goals. + Oversees assigned loan portfolio to ensure proper compliance with loan covenants. + Responsible for monitoring portfolio quality, stability and managing risks. + Makes presentations regarding bank products and services to prospective clients and company principals. + Continually monitors credit quality of assigned accounts. + Responsible for building and maintaining relationships, with a resulting high degree of customer satisfaction. + May train and mentor lower-level officers. + Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:   + Requires a bachelor's degree in banking, finance or a related field and 6+ years commercial lending or other directly related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications. + Extensive knowledge of commercial loans, credit analysis, lending, loan processing and closing processes. + Ability to expand commercial loans, client relationships and cross sell bank products. + Requires strong sales ability. + Expert experience in applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment skills. + Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance. + Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. + Working knowledge of software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets. + Manages a medium to large commercial portfolio.
