Summary:
The Commercial Regulatory Onboarding Specialist will guide the deal team through the Commercial regulatory review process when onboarding or updating customer profiles starting at the time of notification until issuing final approval to proceed. The ROS should have a foundational understanding of OFAC/CIP/KYC/BOCP regulations and familiarity with and high-risk and complex customer types. Additionally, the ROS will perform other regulatory duties such as enhanced due diligence research and performing quality control reviews (QC). High importance is placed on attention to detail, organization, and accuracy while maintaining composure and focus while striving to meet deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Specializes in the completion of customer onboarding/refresh in compliance with regulatory guidelines established by the BSA/AML group including the following: collection, review, validation, of CIP documents; KYC; BOCP form or exclusions/exceptions; third-party research; OFAC screening (as applicable) and enhanced due diligence (EDD).Possesses a clear understanding of the following in order to determine the appropriate level of risk and corresponding requirements: Commercial regulatory onboarding process; BSA/AML policies; emerging risks/OFAC sanctions and market conditions.Determines tier of onboarding complexity, to proceed with the appropriate level of review and deal team engagementWorks collaboratively with the sales and service teams through a solution-oriented approach while meeting tight deadlines.Proactively manages workflow and extra duties assigned through independent time management.Performs quality control reviews as assigned.Actively seeks opportunities to contribute to the success of the team.Performs other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree3+ Years in Commercial Banking.Preferred Qualifications:

Compensation Range:
$30.29 - 59.62 HourlyThe compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
