Commercial Quality Manager 

 


Position purpose:  

 

The Commercial Quality Operations Manager is responsible for the implementation of Market feedback framework, programs ensuring all JTG Markets information is supporting improvements for JTG products.
The incumbent is also responsible for the collection of information related to received market crisis information and quality incidents including the initial assessment, subsequent distribution to relevant QA teams and follow-up via CAPA process. Furthermore Shelf-Life extensions for FG will be conducted by the incumbent.

 

What will you do – responsibilities: ​​

 

Commercial Quality framework and processes
Implement framework and processes for Market activities in assigned regions/markets
- Quality Management System
- Feedback & Complaint Management 
- Serious Quality Incident / Product Recall

 

Commercial Qualityrequirements and supports
- Develop and improve QMS requirements for Market feedback activities based on identified priorities and in alignment with global QMS strategy
- Support market activities by required training and knowledge sharing
- Lead mock recall training in relevant markets
- Manage annual GMP refresher training for relevant teams

 

Commercial Quality validation
Validate Market activities related to Consumer/customer feedback management in assigned market
- Validate the effectiveness and adherance to the global QMS process
- Identification of area for improvement of activities
- Manage internal audits and continuous enhancements

 

Commercial Quality analysis
Perform consumer/customer feedback analysis to identify possible CAPAs 
- Analyze market feedback identifying trends and focuses for quality improvements
- Manage QI/SQI 
- Analyze effectiveness of quality improvement activities
- Oversee product withdrawal/recall from Markets

 

Batch release and Shelf-Life Extension 
- Manage & improve US batch release process (process & system)
- Manage & and improve Shelf-Life extension process for FG (process & systems)

 

Reporting
Consolidate relevant information with relevant teams/functions 
- Serious Quality Incidents 
- Global Corrective and Preventive actions for identified improvement needs

 

Other
- Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request.

 


Who are we looking for – requirements: 

Scientific or technical university degree (e.g. chemical, physical, or environmental engineer; or food technology); Strong practical experience and excellent knowledge in quality assurance and quality management in development and mass production, preferably in the tobacco industry; Fluent in English (written and spoken), other languages considered as an advantage; Integrative personality with distinctive ability to communicate and to work in a team. Sovereignty when dealing with internal and external partners. Organizational skills, flexibility and creativity. Reliability and confidentiality. Comprehensive knowledge of data analysis techniques & statistics; profound project management skills; excellent PC skills (MS Office family) including experience in SAP R/3.
