Position Overview

We are looking for a Commercial Project Controller based in Athens Greece.

What are my responsibilities?

Manage project financials based on contractual developments and plant operations Business partnership with Project manager to ensure accurate project costs and pricing, quarterly reviews financial preparation, as well as financial guidance or support calculations on business case proposals and change orders Manage the project financials based on contractual agreements and ongoing execution phase (e.g. Project: pricing and cost calculation, gross profit, cash flow) Perform monthly project financial forecasting, reporting and assess and communicate risks and opportunities regarding financial impacts. Manage the bank guarantees, insurances, taxes, etc. of the project, in cooperation with the relevant departments. Support of the Project Manager in identifying, minimizing non-conformance costs, and establishing of an appropriate reporting structure; supporting the implementation of lessons learned Act according to the Business Conduct Guidelines and support a culture of trust and integrity (e.g. adherence of tax regulations, delegation of employees, ICFR, Signature rights, segregation of duties, ECC, EHS) Perform various general ledger activities including project related journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations. Support Internal and External Audits as required Procurement, logistics and customs activities in cooperation with project managers in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors. Ensuring of the compliance with export control regulations and hedging/currency regulations Perform and record all the project financial activities in SAP system (e.g. Order Entry, Purchase Orders, Invoicing, etc.)

What do I need to qualify for this job?

* BSc in Economics or relevant field
* MSc will be considered as an asset
* 3 to 5 years of business/commercial experience
* Experience as SAP user  
* Good knowledge of Greek and English, both written and spoken
* Growth Mindset: Desire to continuous learning, comfortable with ambiguity,  willingness to unlearn and relearn
* Results/ Goals orientation and self-motivation for personal and career development within a dynamic working environment

 * Natural curiosity to collaborate with others, grow within a team and ask questions
