Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Commercial Programs & Events Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supporting sales and field service training initiatives, tradeshows & events, and onsite commercial meetings to help drive business growth and improve commercial team performance. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication and organizational skills. This role supports several key functions in the commercial organization across sales, service, and marketing and will need to be comfortable managing several priorities at once.
Responsibilities:
Training Program Management
Coordinate and schedule Commercial Sales and Service training sessions, workshops, and events delivering an experience consistent with our brand and culture while hitting budget objectives Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements. Manage training calendars, resources, materials, and scheduling Coordinates training documentation and materials prepared by instructors Collect feedback and continuously improve training programs based on user needs and business requirementsTradeshow, Event, and Program Management
Coordination of tradeshows and events, including collateral management, room blocks and communications. Coordination of commercial team meetings, both onsite and offsite, including meals, room blocks and communications. Work with cross functional teams, including sales, sales training, field service, marketing, and marketing communications to ensure alignment between tradeshow/events and business objectives Member of the National Service and Sales meeting support team with responsibilities for materials, logistics, registration and onsite support. Management of the sales and marketing equipment demo fleet to support commercial activities. Management of purchase orders and invoicing related to training and marketing programs. Primary back-up to the Executive Assistant supporting the CEO, CMO, and CFORequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree 3-5 years of experience in a highly cross functional, customer-centric role and/or executive administration Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to work effectively across levels, including senior leadership. High attention to detail while managing multiple concurrent projects. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel) Proficient with expense management software (i.e. Concur) Proficient creating and administering online surveys (i.e. Microsoft Forms, Survey Monkey) Strong Project Management skills with ability to adapt, multi-task and prioritize tasks in fast paced environment Willingness to travel (up to 20%) for tradeshows, training events, and national meetings.Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Agile, SFDC, Docebo Previous experience with training coordination and event management.
