General Description

Work with PRS leadership, setting the overall direction and goals for Broking and Commercial Market Management.  Responsible for developing strategic placement solutions for large lines portfolio held by the company.  Designs and oversee the execution of PRS Risk Management Services, Placement process, carrier negotiations and reinsurance strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•    Lead quote process and support Insurer negotiations and relationship management.
•    Support client retention and negotiate to ensure excellent experience.
•    Conduct market research to identify suitable insurance providers.
•    Negotiate coverage terms and premiums with local and international insurance markets.
•    Visit and manage relationships with key accounts. 
•    Provide orientation to internal and external producers about insurance products.
•    Serve as an Internal Subject Matter Expert and coach to develop internal talent including producers, sales and service officers and account executives
•    Collaborate with coworkers in campaigns and during times of high volume to meet standards of service.

Education Bachelor's DegreeExperience

At least 10 years of related experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry.  

Certifications / Licenses

Property & Casualty Insurance Producer or Registered Representative License.

Other Qualifications

•    Excellent oral and written communication skills, both in English and Spanish. 
•    Extensive knowledge of relevant market conditions for specific class/portfolio.
•    Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements.
•    Strong knowledge of underwriting process and procedures.
•    Strong knowledge of claims management process and procedures.
•    Intermediate/ advanced level understanding of relevant software including Excel and other departmental software packages.
•    Strong level of numeracy and literacy, interpersonal and communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
•    Strong planning, organizing and problem-solving skills.
•    Capable of managing multiple tasks/projects simultaneously at a very fast pace.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

On-site
Flexibility to work non-business hours, weekends, and holidays when needed.
