The Commercial Operations Business Analyst plays a key role in enabling commercial and service teams by leading Customer relationship management system (Salesforce) development initiatives aimed at improving sales productivity, enhancing customer service delivery, and enabling associate performance. This role bridges the gap between the commercial organization and IT, helping to optimize system functionality and ensure that tools and processes effectively support business objectives.
As part of the Global Commercial Operations team, this role supports initiatives across all global regions. The position reports to the Global Commercial Tools and Infrastructure Manager and will be and on-site role, located in Mumbai, India.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead Customer relationship management system (Salesforce) development projects to improve system functionality and user experience across global commercial operations. Focus on increasing productivity, enhancing customer service delivery, and supporting associate performance.
Bridge commercial, service, and IT teams by translating business needs into functional requirements. Ensure timely delivery and adoption of system enhancements through structured collaboration and communication.
Support release activities including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), documentation, and deployment. Ensure operational readiness by preparing user-facing materials and coordinating stakeholder feedback.
Deliver actionable insights by leveraging Salesforce reporting and dashboards. Continuously refine visualizations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a commercial operations, business analyst, or CRM systems role.
Demonstrated success in leading system enhancement initiatives, preferably in a global or matrixed organization with a proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Proficiency in Salesforce, including experience with reporting, dashboards, and change or release management processes.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Familiarity with Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) Tools, Enterprise Resource Planning system (SAP) integrations, or other enterprise platforms connected to Salesforce.
