Location: Remote (Great Britain — England, Scotland, Wales)
Field-based (approx. 60% travel)
Reports to: Business Unit Director, Integrated Livestock
Direct reports: 4 (3 Key Account Managers, 1 Farm Technician)

The opportunity
We’re seeking an ambitious, commercially-minded leader to join the Integrated Livestock team as Commercial Manager — Poultry. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll shape and implement sales and customer engagement strategies, lead and develop a high-performing field team, and accelerate the adoption of innovative products across the poultry sector. You will build long-term, mutually beneficial customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and support launches of new products and devices.
What you’ll do
Develop and execute sales and technical support strategies aligned with our organization’s poultry objectives to meet sales targets and KPIs.Lead, coach and manage a team of three Key Account Managers and one Farm Technician: recruit, set clear goals, provide regular feedback, drive accountability and create tailored development plans.Support the KAMs in creating and implementing best-practice tools, account plans and techniques to communicate product value and maximize effectiveness.Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure a consistently excellent customer experience, taking ownership and accountability to problem-solve and drive improvements. Lead complex commercial negotiations and contract discussions with key customers; work with Legal as required.Oversee commercial and technical deployment of vaccination devices in response to customer demand.Shape pricing in partnership with Finance and manage expenditure to budget.Track performance against KPIs, prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, and provide insights on trends and competitor activity.Collaborate with regional and global teams to unlock opportunities in GB and share best practice.Maintain a strong presence in the market and a deep understanding of the poultry industry.Contribute to the Integrated Livestock leadership team, modelling our organization’s ways of working and fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.Act with integrity, comply with laws and company policies, and encourage a speak-up culture.Who we’re looking for
Proven track record of delivering results in customer-facing sales roles within a matrix environment.Experience managing and coaching a commercial team.Strong customer-centric mindset with advanced negotiation skills.Genuine passion for and understanding of the poultry sector (experience in poultry strongly preferred).Demonstrable history of meeting sales targets and growing market share in competitive markets.Strong leadership and people-development skills; ability to create accountability and coach for performance.Excellent problem-solving, commercial and financial acumen; able to analyse market data to inform decisions and forecasts.Confident executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and external partners.Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.Full, clean driving licence.Key leadership capabilities
