We currently have an opportunity for a Commercial Manager.  Join our Base and Estate Management team and play a key role in fulfilling the commercial function, including optimising margin while protecting the business from commercial risk. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

 

What You’ll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

Lead negotiations with Defence on business transfer items and Contract Change Proposals.Participate in bid/tender workshops, as required.Define governance and reporting structure including stakeholder communications.Maintaining the Risk and Opportunity Management Plan, Project Risk and Opportunity Register and Risk and Opportunity Treatment Plans.Monitoring and reporting of the project risk and opportunity profile, including but not limited to, risk and opportunity status, trends, and changes.

 

What You’ll Bring

Tertiary Qualification/s in a relevant discipline (e.g., law, commerce, finance, engineering or equivalent).Demonstrated experience in commercial or contract management role in a Defence environment.Demonstrated extensive experience in a Facilities or Asset Management environment under a Defence or similar complex structure is essential.Experience in managing scope changes, variations and KPI/abatement/ performance regimes.Hold or ability to obtain a Defence Security clearance.
