We currently have an opportunity for Commercial Manager. Join our Health and Education team and play a key role in driving commercial excellence and contract performance by delivering strategic insights, managing risk, and ensuring compliance across complex contractual environments. Reporting to Head of Commercial, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
Safely and sustainably deliver commercial commitments, implement and champion the use of standardised commercial processes and practices including in relation to entitlement management and disputes. Developing a comprehensive understanding of the contract terms and conditions, scope and abatement regime. Contract management, including obligations and entitlements management, modification/variation management, documentation management and claim management. Collaborate with the operational business to ensure the operational team understands and complies with our contractual obligations. Risk and opportunity management, including facilitation of commercial and financial risk assessments and reviews.Develop relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment, foster collaboration and drives successful outcomesDevelop and oversee implementation of strategies to grow the business.
What You’ll Bring
Tertiary Qualification/s in a relevant discipline (e.g. law, commerce, finance, engineering or equivalent Demonstrated extensive experience in a Facilities or Asset Management environment under a PPP or similar complex structure is essentialStrong background in managing scope changes, variations, KPI/abatement, and performance regimes.Experience with qualitative and quantitative risk assessments. Working knowledge and understanding of Occupational Health and Safety and Employee Relations legislation.
