DescriptionThis role will require the candidate to identify, originate and assist with closing new leads for  European fund sponsor clients for Langham Hall. This role will help Langham Hall build on its existing client base and reputation within private funds in Europe. The European business has grown by over 50% in the last few years and continues to grow with a strong pipeline of new funds across multiple different strategies.

Key Responsibilities\nIdentify, research and originate new business opportunities.\nDevelop, expand and build intermediary network and effective relationships to maximize opportunities for referrals and new business opportunities.\nDevelop proposals that addresses clients’ needs, concerns and objectives.\nAssist in the coordination and presentation of multi-jurisdictional sales proposals to international clients.\nContribute to marketing and thought leadership activities, including generating new articles.\nProvide market feedback regarding competitive offerings and prospect needs, and generate development ideas.\nUse knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.\nAttend relevant industry seminars, events and conferences.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise\nUniversity Degree (Accounting/ Law/ Finance are desirable but not essential.)\nRelevant sales experience\nOwn network within the Private Funds industry with relevant working experience in a commercial environment, e.g. Accounting, Law, Insurance is desirable not essential\nPrior experience in private funds would be an added advantage.\nAble to manage coordination of complex multi-jurisdictional proposals involving multiple business lines.\nEntrepreneurial business focus, self-starter, attentive to details, team player with great interpersonal skills.\nAble to “solution sell” with the ability to listen to clients and understand their needs and wants, rather than simple transactional sales.
