Job Summary:

Our Woburn, MA office is looking to enhance the team by adding a Commercial Insurance Account Manager. Our office specializes in providing insurance and bonding for contractors.  This position is in our Commercial Insurance Department and will be responsible for servicing middle market and small business commercial insurance accounts with a focus on construction. 

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain client relationships and work with producers to ensure that all coverage and service needs are met.

Review and analyze commercial accounts and make appropriate coverage and limits recommendations to producers and clients as needed.

Assemble information and applications provided by producers to prepare new business submissions.

Assemble policy, coverage, and exposure information in conjunction with producers to prepare account submissions and market to carriers.

Prepare client proposals based on new and renewal quotations, providing the best value to meet clients’ coverage needs.

Review, verify accuracy, and prepare invoicing instructions for incoming policies and endorsements of assigned accounts.

Day-to-day processing of Workers’ Compensation and Commercial Auto policies, endorsements, and invoices, as well as Certificates of Insurance, will be handled primarily by Commercial Department support specialists.

A support specialist handles cancellations, reinstatements, and the necessary follow-up.

A support specialist also handles claims processing.

Maintain data accuracy in the Agency Management System and its integrated Document Management System.

Review contract insurance specifications for insureds to assure compliance, amend coverage and limits as needed, and provide updated Certificates of Insurance to reflect any required changes.

Contribute to meeting agency production goals by assisting producers and providing superior customer service.  (There are no new business or existing account rounding production requirements.)

No premium collection responsibility, as the producer handles that for each account.

Conduct business knowledgeably and professionally, demonstrating an understanding of the insurance business and the impact of your decisions on the client and the agency.

Keep informed of changes and trends within the industry to anticipate and respond to clients’ needs.

Other responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial insurance.

Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets.

Experience working with construction accounts preferred.

Experience with Microsoft Office and Applied Systems EPIC preferred. 

Excellent written and oral communication skills, well organized, ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, work well both independently and in a team environment.

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $60,000 - $95,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
