Commercial Finance Manager
The Commercial Finance Manager serves as a key business partner, bridging financial expertise with commercial strategy. He/She helps the business make informed, data-driven decisions that improve profit and cash flow while ensuring strong financial discipline. His/Her scope of responsibilities must align with JTI's Operating Guidelines, relevant policies and procedures as well as local Myanmar law and regulation. The role involves building strong relationships with key stakeholders (both internal and external), offering financial insights that supports decisions, ensuring compliance, and help navigate a changing regulatory landscape.
As the Commercial Finance Manager in the area of Finance, you will:
Commercial Business Partnering
Advice and support Market ExCom team on strategic initiatives and long term priorities Act as key business partner, delivering forward-looking insights, scenario modelling, and risk assessments to guide high-impact commercial and operational decisions that improve profitability and sustain competitive advantages.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Regulatory Navigation
Establish and maintain a strong local network to ensure agile and compliant financial operations in a highly dynamic regulatory, fiscal and business dynamics Monitor and evaluate changes in compliance requirements and their operational and financial implications Collaborate with Legal, Corporate Affairs to maintain governance and mitigate risk
Integration of Planning & Performance Cycle
Work closely with the FP&A team to ensures critical strategic initiatives are embedded into the planning, forecasting and performance management processes Align strategic priorities with financial outcomes, ensuring robust tracking, variance management, and decision-ready reporting
Strategic Finance Operations
Support the Finance Director in enhancing the finance function's strategic value through continuous improvement, automation and adoption of advance analytics
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial finance, business partnering, or financial planning in a complex, cross-functional environment Strong sense of business acumen and commercial curiosity Excellent communication and storytelling skills to influence key stakeholders Advance financial modelling and adaptive problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, Power BI and ERP system such as SAP/BW Fluency in written and spoken English and Burmese
