Commercial Finance Manager
JOB DUTIES: Review Orders backlog changes, confirm with operations any unexpected change and compare against forecast to identify any deviation; support ad-hoc request from the organization regarding market and/or content changes and correlate any potential risk and opportunity to our latest forecast and annual plan; align on the latest Risk and Opportunities and estimate the impact on the latest financial forecast; support leadership weekly meetings by presenting the impact on the financial forecast from the latest changes on market trends, customer demand and production constrains; lead revenue planning activities for business unit revenue and market-based demand projections; revise the Financial Forecast by considering latest demand signals from customer, market indicators, internal constrains (material or capacity), prepare supporting documentation to explain changes to management by running multiple comparison vs latest forecast and annual plan; run a content analysis to determine discrepancies between vehicle production fluctuations and customer demand signals that might indicate changes in our market participation; use the latest 3rd party data available to correlate changes in vehicle production, vehicle inventory, vehicle sales and other economy indicators against data from prior months and estimate the direct impact on our Net Revenue; develop, maintain, and enhance data analytics dashboards to provide market, content, and revenue data access for Commercial Finance and other departments within the company; be the final gatekeeper of the NBO process, make sure the customer’s award notification complies with the minimum requirements to move an opportunity to Won/Close; collaborate with marketing to keep an NBO model updated, required to determine how many NBOs we’ll need to meet our LRP (Long Range Plan); calculate the NBO Entitlement; support ad-hoc requests related to the Company’s Earnings Release; collaborate with Demand Planning, Marketing, Sales and Finance to consolidate 5-year Financial Forecast, leveraging the market knowledge, identifying potential risk or inconsistent trends, advising on scenarios and explaining the YoY changes across the different drivers (market, content, Mix, Inventory, FX, Pricing); collaborate with Demand Planning, Marketing, Sales and Finance to build the next year Financial Forecast, leveraging the market knowledge, identifying potential risk or inconsistent trends, advising on scenarios and explaining the YoY changes across the different drivers (market, content, Mix, Inventory, FX, Pricing). Hybrid Work-From-Home schedule permitted 2-3 days/week within reasonable commuting distance from office located at 529 Pleasant Street, Attleboro, MA 02703.

MINMIMU REQUIREMENTS:  A Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Financial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field of study, and 8 years of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry; 5 years of experience in developing and executing program plans including scope, schedule, commercial impact, manufacturing strategy, and quality commitment; analyzing data and determining trends; engaged in negotiating; presenting to senior management and customers; basic finance including: income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and business case assessment through discounted cash flow analysis; business process improvements; in a customer facing role leading projects; indirectly managing global teams in a cross-functional, multi-site environment. Must include 4 years of experience in: product research, financial planning and analysis, and demand forecasting; analyzing data and determining trends (Market Research); business case/Cash-flow development with cross functional input (Engineering, Finance, Production, and Procurement) to forecast margin and net revenue. Must include two (2) years of experience in: Power BI; experience working with ERP and reporting tools such as Oracle.
