ROLE SUMMARY

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?  

Work in partnership with the business to:

Translate strategies into plans and budgets, providing commercial insights relating to future performanceHandle and give to the provision of structured and insightful analysis of financial data in order to influence and enable strategic financial decisions

Business division managers: Credible and strong working relationship. Act as trusted business partnersFinancial Control: Collaborate to provide end-to-end finance delivery for end-market Collaborate closely with across functions to provide high-quality, timely management information to the business

External

External Service Providers (e.g. Suppliers/Agencies, etc.): Maintain external relationship

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Support and coordinates activities to provide valuable, commercial insights to the business planSupervises the execution of strategy through Provision of high-quality financial information and advice to business divisionsIdentifies, implements, and reviews effective internal financial planning processes and controlsSharing insightful financial analysis showing the financial implications of decisions and helping the business divisons get approval for commercially viable cases, budgets and investment proposalsBuild strong financial and commercial awareness within business divisions and challenge business partners to improve performanceDefines and implements standard process planning and control techniques in line with business needsActs as an interface between business divisons and finance functions as required

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

Experience Required

4-6 years’ experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environmentExperience dealing with external partnersBroad experience in large global organisation with in-depth knowledge in specific FMCG process areas

 Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

Detailed understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, i.e. SAP/HFM/BI/BCPStrong influencing, leadership and interpersonal skillsExperience in strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation and commercial acumenAbility to simplify sophisticated situations and synthesise, communicate, and present sophisticated informationInsightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, collaborative, and consultative

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

A degree educated with professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA)
