Commercial Finance Analyst
The role

Commercial Finance is built on two pillars:

Be brilliant at the basics; robust reporting underpinned by ‘one source of truth’ principle and great process No surprises; ongoing forecasting of performance underpinned by proactive analysis and insights

The role will have two points of focus based on both sides of an ROI calculation: the primary focus being on revenues and understanding the ‘why’ behind the numbers, with a secondary focus on investment and how this shapes performance.

Being a credible day to day point of contact for stakeholders; you’re trusted to be in the room Fully understanding the building blocks of performance; produce reports and reports in lne with them, to internal deadlines Being given data analysis to to understand the ‘why’ behind performance; able to suggest areas to investigate or follow up on Suggest and implement process improvements and changes Supported delivery of Budget numbers Supported to forecast performance, raising risks and finding opportunities to mitigate them

What excites us:

You have 2+ years in analyst roles and can demonstrate good fit from other relevant experiences You are a clear and confident communicator with your finance peers and with non finance professionals You are inquisitive, proactive & passionate about interrogating data to understand the ‘why’ You can comfortably work in Excel/Google Sheets and are keen to advance skills in this area You want to develop how you tell a performance story, supported by data You understand what an Accrual and a Prepayment are (It’s preferred) You are currently studying for professional qualifications You have interests outside of work

Salary range - the expected base salary range for this position is between €26,400 - €39,600 (gross) per year. (Including 13th and 14th salary)

Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
