Commercial Expansion Lead
**Ready to lead growth across one of Uber Eats' most exciting regions?** Join us as we expand our impact across Ecuador and other key Latin American markets, supporting thousands of restaurant partners along the way. ### **About the Role** We’re looking for a strategic, people-first Expansion Lead to drive our commercial success and lead a team of Account Managers across Latin America. In this high-impact role, you’ll be responsible for growing our presence in Ecuador and surrounding territories, developing merchant relationships, and building high-performing, results-driven teams. You’ll combine hands-on leadership with strong strategic thinking, enabling your team to thrive, deliver value to our partners, and drive key business results. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about operations, sales, people development, and building cross-functional momentum. ### **What You’ll Do** - **Lead a High-Performing Team:** Build, coach, and empower a team of Account Managers focused on merchant success and revenue growth. - **Drive Growth:** Own and exceed revenue and retention targets. Optimize upsell strategies and partner value creation. - **Be Data-Driven:** Leverage metrics to continuously improve team performance and partner outcomes. - **Build Cross-Functional Alignment:** Collaborate with Ops, Finance, IT, and other regional stakeholders to execute commercial strategies that scale. - **Turn Strategy into Action:** Translate country-level objectives into day-to-day commercial execution across diverse territories. - **Be a Trusted Partner:** Represent Uber in key client meetings, helping our partners grow while deepening Uber’s market position. ### **What You’ll Need** - 5+ years of experience in commercial or account management roles, ideally in tech, delivery, or restaurant industries. - Experience leading and developing commercial teams with a focus on results and people growth. - Proven success in client-facing roles managing long-term, high-impact partnerships. - Strong data fluency—comfortable using insights to make smart, strategic decisions. - Excellent communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to influence across all levels. - Skilled in project and stakeholder management, with a track record of delivering business impact. - You’re autonomous, adaptable, and thrive in fast-paced environments. - Fluency in Spanish and Business English is required. ### **Bonus Points If You Have** - SQL proficiency for data analysis and performance monitoring - Experience in the food, grocery, retail, or convenience industry - Previous work scaling operations or teams in high-growth markets ### **Why Join Us** At Uber, we believe that when the world moves, better things happen.
