Commercial Excellence Manager

Are you passionate about driving commercial performance and enabling strategic decision-making? We are looking for a dynamic and analytical Commercial Excellence Manager to join our Swiss Commercial Organization in Fribourg. In this pivotal role, you will provide insights, tools, and processes that empower our sales, marketing, and leadership teams to optimize performance, identify growth opportunities, and enhance operational efficiency.

Your Key Responsibilities


1. Strategic Commercial Support

Contribute to the implementation of commercial strategies at the affiliate levelSupport strategic planning for CSL Vifor products across leadership and customer teamsConduct advanced analyses (e.g., patient flows, forecasting)Perform market and competitor researchManage forecasting tools and develop business cases


2. Business Intelligence & Performance Monitoring

Track and analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer insightsDrive the development of business intelligence tools (data warehouse, data models, Power BI)Maintain and publish monthly performance reportsManage external vendors and control related budgets


3. Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE)

Lead SFE processes including segmentation, targeting, goal setting, and incentive planningConduct performance reviews with regional teams and commercial leadershipMaintain and adapt CRM systems to local needsRoll out global projects and provide trainingSupport integrated account management and change management initiativesCollaborate closely with global Commercial Excellence teams

Your Profile

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Life Sciences, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of experience in sales force effectiveness within the pharmaceutical industryAdditional experience in marketing, sales, or project management is a plusProficiency in English, German, and FrenchStrong skills in Microsoft Office and familiarity with data warehouse and BI technologiesSolid understanding of the pharmaceutical market, CRM systems, and forecasting toolsProven experience in business and financial analysisStrong project management capabilitiesIndependent, proactive, and collaborative team player
