\nWe are seeking a Commercial Drywall and Framing Mechanic (specializing in Carpentry Work, Metal Framing, and Drywall) to join our team at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina-a beautiful coastal location with a strong sense of community and pride in service.\nIn this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in our construction efforts by performing a variety of physical and skilled carpentry tasks. Using a range of hand and power tools, you'll help build and shape quality spaces while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient worksite.\n
\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\n\n\nWorking with framing systems, drywall, and other materials in commercial construction\n\n\nAssisting fellow craft workers on-site as needed\n\n\nCleaning and preparing job sites, digging trenches, and setting up braces for support\n\n\nErecting scaffolding, clearing debris, and safely disposing of non-hazardous materials\n\n\nOperating construction equipment and supporting its upkeep and maintenance\n\n\nFollowing all safety protocols in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values\n\n\nThis is a great opportunity to grow with a team that values craftsmanship, safety, and the well-being of its crew-all in a coastal setting that makes the workday just a little brighter.\n
\nAdditional Details:\n\n\nThis position offers prevailing wage compensation for work performed on a military installation\n\n\nAll tasks must be completed using appropriate equipment and in compliance with safety regulations\n\n\n
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour \n

Qualifications:\n\nA high school diploma or GED is the preferred minimum formal education for this position. \nFive or more years of experience with carpentry required (can be a combination of rough, finish carpentry).\nTwo or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience in commercial construction required; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred. \nCPR and First Aid Certifications preferred; Specific training or certificates in the following preferred:\n\nForklift\/Manlift training and certificate\nTrenching and shoring training\nFall protection training\nConfined space training\nLockout\/Tagout training\nScissor lift\/boom lift certificate\nEM-385 40-hour\nOSHA 10-hour\nOSHA 30-hour\n\n\n\n
