Commercial Digital Strategy Director

Summary:

Huntington has embarked on a client centric digital transformation for the Commercial Bank. Commercial Digital is a key enabler of our growth strategies supporting Commercial Bank. The Digital Strategy director is a critical leadership role in the Digital Organization. In this role, you will collaborate with our Digital Value Stream leaders and Commercial Business leaders to identify forward-looking digital opportunities to advance the Commercial technology agenda. This role will position Commercial Digital as a thought leader and strategic partner in the Commercial strategy ecosystem while ensuring our current portfolio strategies are optimized for value realization. Partnership, analysis, and innovative thinking are key aspects of the role.

Digital Value creation Strategy development: Define and develop comprehensive digital value creation strategies for commercial bank, supporting our growth, expansion and verticalization strategies. Provide Thought leadership and consulting to support Digital Value stream leaders with insights – benchmarking, industry trends, peer study etc. Play a pivotal role in advancing thought leadership and digital offerings to our customers, including AI driven experience for our colleagues and customers. Drive cross functional collaboration across the bank to facilitate best in class integration points between user experience, marketing, products, and analytics teams. Promote a culture of collaboration, inclusion and strategic excellence across the Commercial business, Digital and Technology teams.

• Constantly brings a “concept valuation” lens to the table

• Deep strategic expertise

• Highly collaborative leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams with the vision/mission.

• Ability to make complex topics seem simple and layout clear options and recommendations for decision makers

• Excellent influencing, consulting, and communication (both oral and written) skills, with the ability to successfully interact with and relate complex technical information to multiples audiences in business terms.

• Strong analytical acumen and ability to drive into data and insights.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree

• Minimum of 5 years of digital, product management, or related experience

• Minimum of 12 years of Banking, Finance, or Consulting experience in financial services (Commercial Banking knowledge is highly preferred)
