Job Description:At Regions, the Commercial Credit Services Credit Analyst provides Portfolio Management and Underwriting support for the Credit Products group. Underwriting support includes financial statement spreading, cash flow analysis, and credit approval package preparation. The Commercial Credit Services Credit Analyst may also execute various credit servicing activities, including covenant testing, risk rating assessments, and formal documentation of ongoing monitoring and periodic assessment actions.
Primary Responsibilities
Spreads borrower interim and year-end financial statements in Moody's CreditLens (MCL) (and potentially in other software programs as well, if applicable)
Prepares cash flow analysis
Tests interim and year-end covenant compliance calculations
Tests interim and year-end benchmarks (if applicable)
Spreads and analyzes guarantor financial information (if applicable)
Prepares risk rating models on borrowers and guarantors
Prepares ongoing monitoring packages and periodic assessment packages
Prepares certain sections and appendices of credit approval packages
Assesses borrower request to determine appropriate underwriting channel
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or
High School Diploma and four (4) years of commercial banking, loan underwriting, analysis or portfolio management experience

Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
