Commercial Contracts Manager

We have an opening for a motivated and commercially-minded Commercial Contracts Manager to work in our Legal and Compliance Department. The candidate should have at least two years of experience working as a commercial attorney (in house or law firm), preferably at a technology company. In this role, you will support the Associate General Counsel in managing a broad range of legal matters, with a primary focus on customer agreements, commercial contracts, partnership agreements, and general corporate governance. 

 This is an exciting opportunity to thrive in a fast-paced, global SaaS environment and play a key role in driving strategic business initiatives with sound legal judgment and working cross-functionally across the organization. The ideal candidate is analytical, business-minded, detail-oriented, anxious to learn, and self-motivated. The successful candidate will review, draft, and negotiate a broad range of agreements. You will provide support to all parts of the business, working closely with sales, finance, marketing, IT, security, and HR.

*This is a flexible hybrid role from our Boston and/or Waltham, MA office


What you’ll do:

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including customer and partnership related agreements, order forms, DPAs, BAAs, vendor agreements, and NDAs Ensure contractual compliance with legal requirements and internal policies Act as primary contact between business and legal, ensuring all legal and commercial matters are addressed efficiently and promptly Support the business in responding to customer inquiries and assist with contractual interpretation and dispute resolution Support responses to regulatory inquiries related to customer matters, data privacy, or other legal and compliance matters Assist with general corporate matters, including entity management, corporate filings, and policy development Help maintain and improve legal templates, processes, and playbooks Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Finance, Security, and Compliance teams to support deal flow and ensure alignment with business objectives Provide legal guidance on risk mitigation strategies while balancing business priorities

 Who you are:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school 2+ years of relevant legal experience (law firm or in-house), ideally with exposure to commercial and/or corporate legal work in a SaaS, tech, or fast-growth environment Experience working within a global business is a plus Experience with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is a plus Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills Proven team player with a collaborative, proactive mindset and strong analytical skills Strong analytical skills required with problem-solving ability Demonstrated commercial acumen, sound judgment, and ability to balance legal risk with business goals A self-starter who can work independently in a dynamic, high-growth environment Experience with, or strong interest in, artificial intelligence (AI) tools is a plus Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), DocuSign, Google (Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets), and experience working with contract management and collaboration tools, is a plus
