As a Product Manager in Commercial Card, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Job responsibilities

Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customersManages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmapOwns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value propositionBuilds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliabilityDevelops fact-based business assessments to identify opportunities, inform investment decisions, ensure consistency of methodology and measure progressAnalyzes contractual cost structures of key partners to inform negotiations and partner strategiesRefines and re-engineers existing solutioning and delivery framework for product capabilities that includes periodic reportingCommunicates effectively with key internal and external partners to understand needs and prioritiesPartners with internal stakeholders including Finance, Operations, Technology, Risk, Control, Compliance and Field to define and deliver new product capabilitiesAssists in product strategy initiatives to support requirements across industries and client segmentsUnderstands trends across the industry and client base to identify areas of opportunity and competitive vulnerability

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain areaAdvanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analyticsProven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value managementChange agent – make a compelling case for change through facts, strong communication style, and deep understanding of audienceRelationship builder – invest in developing collaborative relationships with key internal and external partnersDriven to execute – deliver results, leverage strong organizational skills and deep drive to execute flawlesslyDemonstrated experience implementing large-scale, complex solutionsSuperb relationship management and communication skills; able to listen and navigate the organization to bring multiple stakeholders togetherAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint/PitchPro, with strong oral and written communication skillsAble to thrive in a high intensity environment with multiple and competing priorities

Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organizationGraduate degree in engineering, finance, business administration or similar experiencePayments expert: strong point of view on the future of payments informed by experience and thought leadership
