ABOUT THE TEAM:
Regional Commercial Team supporting Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region is part of the Global Commercial Finance (“GCF”) organization. As a member of the Southern EMEA team you will be supporting SAP’s Sales team with deal shaping, deal approval, contract creation, compliance verification based on internal policies and external regulations and various other activities related to cloud (Public, Private, PCE, PTO) as well as renewals and on-premise offerings, for medium-sized and large enterprises. As Commercial Business Partner supporting specific Market Unit/s, you will be strongly involved in deal support of critical deals, key accounts and nonstandard requests. Not only individually but also with your team you will be closely collaborating with Legal colleagues, Customer Evolution, Global Risk & Compliance, Sales, Pricing and Revenue Recognition teams across Europe, Middle East and Africa. In addition, you will be in touch with our Service Delivery Hub colleagues. This role also has opportunities to support projects and drive efficiency and process improvements and at the same time offers many development opportunities of other skills and competencies that will help shape a future career path.
DAILY TASKS:
• Deal shaping: work closely with Account Executives and share strategy on customer to support construction of the deal, identify and coordinate stakeholders, collect pre-approvals when necessary, identify critical request and anticipate issues;• Review deals: Ensure completeness and accuracy of the quotations. Support approval process of complex Cloud and OnPrem deals, guide internal customers on approval requirements, ensure deals which are within scope are approved in proper manner and timelines according to SAP policies and guidelines, engage in customer negotiation (CBP is also available for customer meetings). Collaborate with your counterparts;
• Contract drafting: Be responsible for preparing contract documents from template and adding/drafting language for deal specifics. Close collaboration with Legal is expected. Customer facing activities to support negotiation may be required
• Contract management: Maintain SAP’s contract records and contract related data in SAP’s contract management system, Understand the history of the customer in order to deliver a high-quality service to our sales team;
• Act as a primary point of contact for Sales Team, answer queries from internal customers and build long-term business relationships;
• Accommodate quarter-end and year-end deadlines and respond to spikes in workload from the Sales team;
• Use SAP technology for reporting, monitoring and managing Deals and other transactions end to end;
• Contribute ideas to drive automation, standardization and process improvements;
• Participate in special projects and self-driven projects
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Fluent written and spoken English,
• Bachelor or Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or related business background,
• Good command of MS Office,
• Written and spoken Spanish and/or Portuguese and/or French is a plus
• Experience with SAP systems is a plus.
• EU passport is a plus

WORK EXPERIENCE:
• At least 2-3 years professional experience within Finance / Legal / Commercial
• Preferably experience with commercial business scenarios and processes
• Previous deal support experience is a plus.
