Join Roche, where every voice matters. **The Position** The Commercial Business Analyst is a dynamic and multifaceted role that serves as a strategic partner and critical advisor to the business. This position goes beyond traditional data analysis by blending strong technical and analytical skills with deep business acumen and excellent communication abilities. The core purpose is to leverage data to uncover opportunities, solve complex problems, and ultimately shape the future direction of the business to drive commercial success and better patient outcomes. **Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:** + **Strategic Forecasting:** Continuously develop, improve, and manage the targeting model and forecasting approaches to enhance business predictability and accuracy. Collaborate closely with Squads, Supply Chain, and Finance to co-create and align on sales and demand forecasts for the product portfolio. + **Business Case Development:** Act as an expert in developing and validating solid business cases that support product strategy throughout its lifecycle. This includes modeling peak share predictions, pricing scenarios, and market entry assessments. + **Market Research & Insights:** Plan, implement, and manage both primary and secondary market research initiatives to support strategic decision-making. Synthesize data from diverse sources - CRM tools, market research, and competitive intelligence—to generate comprehensive, insights-based reports for Squad Leads and the Enabling Team. + **Actionable Insights:** Translate complex, technical findings into a clear, insights-based picture, enabling stakeholders to make strategic decisions and take effective action. + **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Actively partner with finance analyst roles to shape Squad performance, leveraging a broad range of enterprise data to deliver relevant insights for the Therapeutic Area. + **Systems Expertise:** Have knowledge on CRM systems, and master data management. + **Competitive Intelligence:** Maintain accountability for the ongoing monitoring and analysis of competitive insights to understand market dynamics and the competitive landscape. **Required Skills and Qualifications** + **Education:** University degree (MSc, BSc, MA, BA) in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, or Data Science. + **Experience:** Proven work experience in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to build robust business cases. Experience within the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry is highly preferred. + **Business Acumen:** Demonstrates a deep understanding of strategic and operational aspects of a business, with the ability to connect analytical findings to commercial drivers. + **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL) and a strong understanding of CRM systems and master data management. + **Communication:** Excels at collaborating and communicating effectively within cross-functional teams and with senior leadership. + **Mindset:** Is a proactive, self-driven problem-solver who possesses a high degree of intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous learning. ​We offer a minimum of gross € 60.000 per year and attractive benefits.
