Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager for clients with annual revenue of $100MM to $2B supporting the Southwest market as part of the Commercial Bank. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com. 


In this role, you will:

Research complex credit investigations and diverse credit information for loansIdentify opportunity for process improvements within scope of responsibilities or functional areaReview and identify basic operational assignments that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives while exercising independent judgement to guide medium risk deliverablesPresent recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirementsCollaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders including internal as well as external customers


Required Qualifications:

2+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Experience with complex credit, underwriting, and debt structure for clients with annual revenue of $100MM to $2BCompletion of a formal credit training programComprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services, such as commercial lending and treasury management  Experience in swiftly adopting and executing change management to enable business growth Experience developing and maintaining external and internal partnershipsExperience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business 

Job Expectations:
