Commercial Administrative Officer (EO) - Band D
Job Description

Our Public sector client is recruiting for a commercial Administrative officer (EO) to join their team on a temporary basis. This is currently a temporary role until June 2026 but there may be a chance of an extension. This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week. There will be flexibility with the working hours, depending on business needs but the team usually works around 8:30 - 4:30/9-5. The pay rate for this role is £13.51 per hour, rising to £14.66 at week 12. Payment is on a weekly basis.

This will be a hybrid position. The client is happy for a suitable candidate to be located wherever in the UK but occasional travel to Leeds would be required. Team meetings are arranged often, and IT would need collecting from the Leeds office.

As a commercial Administrative officer for MOJ Core you will be providing first line support to stakeholders. Day to day duties will include:

Managing inboxes for travel and vehicle hire, venue hire and events etcProviding an excellent first contact for stakeholdersEnsuring enquiries are being processedReferring and distributing enquiries to relevant people/departmentsOccasional Microsoft teams calls with stakeholders to provide support and guidanceUse of internal processes and systemsThere may be ownership of PO and requisitions

The client is looking for a very strong administrator to join their team. Someone with previous admin experience and experience using processes will be considered for this role. Training and support will be provided but the client is looking for someone who will be able to hit the ground running.

If successful, we will need to carry out a Basic DBS check and 3 years of referencing in order to get you started. Due to a high volume of advert responses, we unfortunately cannot get back to everyone.
