Position: Command Language Program (CLP) Support Specialist/Admin Type: Full- time Location: Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), WA FORSCOM Western Regional Office Travel: 10% **Contingent upon award** Position Summary: The Command Language Program (CLP) Specialist provides direct administrative, reporting, and technical support for all aspects of the FORSCOM Language and Culture Services' CLP requirements. Responsible for maintaining linguist skills databases, generating reports, supporting CLPMs and staff, and coordinating training logistics, this role ensures the smooth and compliant operation of Army CLP activities. The CLP Specialist enables commanders to sustain and track language readiness, directly impacting Army-wide operational capacity and compliance with AR 11-6. Duties and Responsibilities: These services are required to support unique efforts which may require: + Maintain and update linguist language skills databases (ILTPs, attendance, testing, readiness) and CLP documentation + Generate detailed, timely reports on attendance, scheduling, databases, and CLP metrics; submit to COR, CLPMs as required + Track and manage correspondence, SOPs, web links for AR 11-6 and other regulatory sources + Support staff with administrative requirements, copying, scheduling, digital file management, and inventory + Prepare, review, and distribute student surveys, ODA results, evaluations, and CLPM-level briefs + Interface professionally with government customers, instructors, students, and leadership + Support in-person and virtual meetings; prepare and submit meeting notes Required Skills and Abilities: + High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred + Minimum 2 years of experience in program, office, or education administration (language program support preferred) + Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite, data entry/reporting, and database management + Superior organizational and communication skills + U.S. citizenship required + Ability to obtain/maintain NACI + Experience supporting military or government programs strongly preferred + Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and respond flexibly to surge needs Language Proficiency Requirements: + Professional written and spoken English at ILR L3/R3/S3/W3 or higher + Ability to follow government security, conduct, and privacy policies + Must complete mandatory training, including Anti-Terrorism/OPSEC/Information Assurance Physical Demands and Work Environment: While performing the duties of this position, the IC is regularly required to talk, listen, and write. The IC frequently is required to use foot/ankle motions, hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand, walk, sit; and reach with hands and arms. The IC must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
