Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking an Command Center Operations Specialist for our local branch located in White Plains 

Positions Are: Full TimeWorkdays Available: Candidates should be flexible Monday - SundayWork Shifts Available: 5pm-1am, and 1am-9amPay Rate: $22 / hour

The Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator is responsible for assisting company personnel in all concerns that pertain to safety and security for corporate locations around the globe. The individual will work in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment, monitoring several screens. The Operator will use a variety of tools that range from access control and alarm monitoring systems to various business intelligence sources, open-source media, Internet, and in-house tools. The Operator is required to detect, analyze, and alert others of any incidents which may impact the client’s people, products, property, or brand image. These may range from extreme weather conditions, political instability, crime, terror, to technical failures.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Investigate alarms and respond by sending security patrol, or alerting fire services or police as neededAssist company employees in all concerns that pertain to safety and securityMonitor travel safety and security of company’s employeesConduct ongoing review of multiple systems and sources to detect potential risksNotify and coordinate corporate response by distribution of advisories and other communicationsCompile daily reports and incident reportsFollow procedures for managing a variety of incidents, from minor incidents handled at the local level to global crisesProvide back-up, support, and on-call function as needed

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

High school diploma or equivalentLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employmentMinimum of two (2) years of military, law enforcement, government, or security experienceStrong customer service skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to multitask in a fast paced, at times stressed work environmentComfortable with high-tech work environment and constant learning of new tools and innovationsProficient in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

Associate’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice or Security Management
