The Opportunity:

CACI has established upcoming positions throughout the European theater supporting multiple customers for the Department of Defense. We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives. 

 

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Command and Control (C2) Systems Administrator, SME. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partner G33 MCSD located OCONUS in Wiesbaden, Germany. This position is required to travel OCONUS.  This position is located OCONUS. 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

Supports installing operating system software, patches, and upgrades, including expertise in technology such as virtual hardware cloud-based capabilities 

Functions as a subject matter expert for systems administration functions on MP-applicable C2 systems applications and infrastructure (e.g., GCCS-J, DCGS-A, JADOCS) 

Configures and troubleshoots C2 systems, Common Operating Pictures (COPs), and Common Intelligence Pictures (CIPs) 

Manages network and systems configurations to improve performance and maintain compliance with security requirements 

Maintains network Active Directories (ADs), file servers, and print servers 

Assesses and supports testing of proposed configuration changes and documents configuration changes 

Ensures configurations enable automated updating (e.g., System Center Configuration Manager) and administers and maintains virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware) 

Ensures system backups, recovery, and storage provisioning are adequate to support Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans 

Supports COOP and DR reviews and exercises, including developing plans or scenarios, and implements changes identified and approved as a result of exercises 

• Performs routine audits of operating systems, servers, and applications, including supporting forensic audits and reports or resolutions for incidents 

Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves system hardware, software, and networking issues, including system outages, and monitors response times, evaluating user satisfaction levels and making recommendations for system improvements 

Interfaces with vendors, Government, and/or technical staff on solutions, system implementation, optimization, and ongoing management and frequently participates and contributes in discussions and evaluations of new technologies 

 Possesses and applies expertise on multiple, complex work assignments 

Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives 

Possesses domain and expert technical knowledge 

May supervise others  

 

Qualifications: 

Required:  

Currently hold an adjudicated Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility 

BA/BS + 13 years  

Certification – 8140 - CEH or CFR or Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC 

Provides extensive expertise in command and control systems, preferably GCCS-J, DCGS-A, and JADOCS, with advanced proficiency in operating system management across virtual and cloud environments. Possesses deep knowledge of network administration, including active directories, file servers, and security compliance, while excelling at configuring and troubleshooting complex C2 systems,  

Common Operating Pictures, and Common Intelligence Pictures. Showcases strong skills in system performance optimization, backup management, disaster recovery planning, and expertise in virtualization platforms like VMware.  

Conducts thorough system audits, including forensic audits, with precision and attention to detail, while analyzing user satisfaction levels and implementing improvements to enhance system performance and user experience.  

Displays aptitude for vendor relations, technical problem-solving, and staying current with emerging technologies in the C2 domain.  

Exhibits potential for supervisory responsibilities, capable of leading and mentoring team members in a technical environment.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$99,300 - 208,600 USD
